Matt & Maggie Fischer started @RTifacts & @rchitecture in late 2008...or should they say, their interest for re-inventing cool, old vintage "junk" put them in business. Shortly after marrying, they spent several long years completely renovating their turn-of-the-century Craftsman Bungalow...and believe it or not, they're still together! The deeper they got into the rehab, the greater their need to escape from time-to-time...hence, what began as a weekend distraction, turned into their passion for "junk sales."
Maggie, a graphic designer by trade...and Matt, a jack-of-all-trades home renovator, use their professional skills to design and build interesting and functional products made from the discarded materials of yesterday and re-purposed for the practicality of today!
Their product mix changes frequently, as they are always finding new "vintage junk," and trying to figure out how to put it back into service as something useful and different. Their hope is to provide their customers with a unique selection of one-of-a-kind homemade treasures that you won't find anyplace else.
